Test restores on a schedule
A job reporting success is a job that ran. Corrupted images and missing volumes report success too. Periodic sample restores with evidence are the only proof that matters.
The Microsoft 365 gap
Microsoft does not back up your mailboxes, SharePoint or OneDrive beyond its own retention windows. Server backup does not cover it either. It needs its own protection and most businesses do not have it.

Common questions
Do we have to replace our current backup?
No. If your Veeam or NAS setup works, we monitor it. Replacing something functional costs you money and gains you nothing — we would rather fix the gaps around it.
Would our backups survive ransomware?
That depends on whether an attacker holding domain administrator rights can reach and delete them. For a domain-joined NAS with a writable share, usually they can. It is the first thing we check.
How often do you test a restore?
Quarterly sample restores from Resist 365 upward, with an annual full rehearsal at Complete. Every test comes with evidence — what was restored, how long it took, and whether it worked.
