Productized security
Windows ships with Microsoft Defender Antivirus, and it is genuinely capable. What it does not do out of the box is report to anyone, keep history, or connect what it found on one machine to what happened on another. That is the part we operate.
Included from the tier shown below. Month to month, cancel any time.

Every device gets the same hardened configuration rather than whatever each machine happened to be left on — cloud protection level, tamper protection, real-time scanning, controlled folder access.
ASR rules deployed in audit first so we can see what they would have blocked, then enforced once the exclusions are right. Blocking things your business needs is not security.
One view of every device's protection status, so a machine whose antivirus has been off for a month is something we know about rather than something you discover afterwards.
Database and backup workloads need specific exclusions or they break. Getting these wrong causes outages and corrupted jobs, and it is one of the most common failures we inherit.

Usually yes. Two real-time scanners on one machine cause conflicts and performance problems. We plan the switchover rather than just uninstalling.
Same detection engine. The difference is central management, policy enforcement, history, reporting, and someone acting on what it finds.
Both are supported and both should be covered. Mac users are not exempt from the threats that actually affect small businesses, most of which arrive by email.
Every package includes this. Pick the tier that fits.
